With an academic background in agriculture and sustainable development, Jude spent five years living, learning and working in the Honduran rain-forest, seconded by Tearfund to local organisation Mopawi. During this time she learnt Spanish and gained a huge amount from working closely with her Honduran colleagues. She has since travelled to various other countries with Tearfund and spent three years in Nepal. For eight years Jude was the editor of Footsteps magazine and for three years she co-led Tearfund’s Communication for Development team, with particular responsibility for inclusive language and translation. Jude now works for her local church in Farnham, Surrey. Jude is married to Steve, and they have two children.
